Monday TV Picks: 'Major Crimes' on TNT
TV picks for Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, include the new "Major Crimes" on TNT, "Stars Earn Stripes" on NBC and "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox.
Tonight in Prime Time
How do all you fans of "The Closer" feel about its new incarnation? While I love seeing many of the former show's great ensemble cast (G.W. Bailey, Raymond Cruz and Michael Paul Chan are standouts), I'm having a hard time warming to Mary McDonnell's Capt. Raydor. Yes; the character has always been kind of remote, but maybe it'll just take a few episodes for Raydor and the show to get into a good groove. 9 p.m. Monday on TNT (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
