'Grey's Anatomy'

Dear creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes, please don't kill off Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) in tonight's eighth season finale. She is one of the stronger characters in your Seattle-set medical drama. The aftermath of the Boise-bound plane crash that ended last week's episode looks to be as shocking and devastating as the hospital shootout finale of two seasons ago. While you may think this is "good television," my (and possibly many other viewers) continued viewership hangs in the balance. Season finale, 9 p.m. Thursday on ABC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
