Sunday TV Picks: Season finale of 'Sherlock' on KCTS
TV picks for Sunday, May 20, 2012, include the season finale of "Sherlock" on KCTS; "The 2012 Billboard Music Awards" on ABC; and "The Simpsons" on Fox.
Tonight in Prime Time
While you may still be recovering from last week's "Hounds of Baskerville" episode (I still get the shivers), you may need to gather yourself again for tonight's season finale, "The Reichenbach Fall." As with last year's final episode, there are superb cat-and-mouse mind games between Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Moriarty (Andrew Scott, so evil and so good), but events crescendo to an (almost) permanent conclusion. This is not passive television — you must watch and pay attention. Co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss definitely leave you wanting more. Hurry back, boys! 9 p.m. Sunday on KCTS (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
