'The Ricky Gervais Show'

It's Season 3 for this animated talk show, based on the podcast from creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant ("The Office," "Extras"). If you've never experienced Gervais and Merchant talking with their colleague and friend, the truly unique Karl Pilkington, give this show a look. Tonight Pilkington opines on how museums procure their collections. 9 p.m. Friday on HBO (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
