Thursday TV Picks: 'Community' returns to NBC
TV Picks for Thursday, March 15, 2012, include "Community" on NBC; the new "Missing" on ABC; and "American Idol" on Fox.
Tonight in Prime Time
Like that other sitcom about a collection of oddballs that returned to television recently ("Cougar Town"), this community college-set comedy has been sorely missed. But now there's an Oscar-winner in the group. Jim Rash, who plays really odd Dean Pelton, won the award for the screenplay of "The Descendants"). This new episode involves a sandwich shop on campus. 8 p.m. Thursday on NBC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
