UPDATE: Former Washington football coach Don James is the Dawgfather, and now you've chosen him President of the Seattle Sports Scene. Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez came in second, and Ken Griffey Jr. beat out Chris Hansen by 10 votes to finish third.

We received several reader nominations for our 2012 election to find the President of the Seattle Sports Scene, including Fred Brown, Lorenzo Romar, Lenny Wilkens and Jay Buhner. But, here are the top 10 candidates — and their creative slogans — that are running for the city's highest office in sports:
