Pieces of Seattle make appearances in London

It may be nearly 4,800 miles between Seattle and London, but Seattle culture can still cross that distance. Terrie Deidesheimer came across a Boy Scout uniform (right, first image) at the Portobello Road market.

Heather Deranek always seems to come across a Starbucks, no matter where she is. She writes:

I always like to keep an eye out for unique products if I am at a Starbucks in a different country, and London did not disappoint. This gem caught my eye: pancakes (right, second image). They had different toppings you could choose from as well. I'd be interested in having those in the Northwest.

While I waited for my coffee order to come up, they had Death Cab For Cutie playing on the radio in there, a nice nod to the Northwest. You can take the girl out of Seattle, but you can't take the Seattle out of the girl!
