Just another commute into work. Oh wait, Olympic torch!

The Olympic torch is being relayed throughout central London today and it just so happens the relay started this morning at 6.48 a.m. just a few minutes from my office. I purposely came in early (en route to the gym before work) to get a glimpse of the torch as it passed through Camden Town, where I work.
As you can see from the people on the streets, there is so much excitement and anticipation in London right now. I was lucky enough to pass by all of this as part of my daily commute into work, but I'm sure some of these people made a special trip and had been camped out (for who knows how long) to see the torch as it passed by.
It was quite early in the morning and I hadn't had my coffee yet, but I had to pinch myself as the torch passed by and remind myself that this very well could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see an Olympic torch as it makes its way to the opening ceremony. I guess the realization that I live in this cool city during such an amazing time is setting in and I feel so lucky to be a part of it.
Now I just need to strategize where to watch the opening ceremony from tomorrow night.
