Trek the trails of Canada with your dog
Sometimes the best way to shake off the doldrums is to get out and explore nature with a good friend.
If your best pal is a dog, you might be inspired to grab the leash, pack the car and head north after reading the recent travel story by Chisty Karras. She and her shepherd-retriever mix travel to Canada to tryout the dog-friendly trails at Whistler, site of many Winter Olympic events in 2010.
Karras shares tips on crossing the border with a dog, where to stay and fun things to do.
