Chicago Sky beats defending champion Indiana

The visiting Chicago Sky beat the defending champion Indiana Fever 71-61.

INDIANAPOLIS – Epiphanny Prince scored 21 points to lead the Chicago Sky to a 71-61 victory over the injury-plagued Indiana Fever on Saturday night.

Elena Delle Donne had 13 points and Sylvia Fowles added 11 for the Sky (5-3). Ex-Gonzaga standout Courtney Vandersloot had nine points and a game-high four assists.

Shavonte Zellous scored 17 points to lead the defending-champion Fever (1-6), which was without perennial All-Star Tamika Catchings as it lost its sixth straight. Catchings was sidelined by a lower-back injury.
