Rewind: Live chat with Storm point guard Sue Bird
Sue Bird is preparing for her 11th season in the WNBA with the Seattle Storm and her third appearance on the U.S. Olympic women’s basketball team.
She won a Russian title with UMMC Ekaterinburg in April before returning to Seattle to join the Storm’s training camp as well as participate in a USA Basketball training camp May 11-13.
The USA Basketball Women’s National Team will play an exhibition game against China on May 12 at KeyArena.
Bird was the top overall pick in the 2002 draft, is the Storm’s all-time leader in assists and helped lead the Storm to WNBA championships in 2004 and 2010.
