SAN ANTONIO — When Sylvia Fowles is on her game, few players in the WNBA can stop her.

Fowles scored 28 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to help the Chicago Sky beat the San Antonio Silver Stars 85-73 Sunday.

"She did it early, she did it in the middle, she did it late," Sky coach Pokey Chatman said of Fowles. "When she couldn't do it, she snatched some boards."

The 6-foot-6 Fowles, who entered the game shooting a league-leading 57.5 percent from the field, made 12 of 16 for Chicago (11-14), which won for the second time in its last six games.

"That's about as dominating a presence in the post that I have ever seen," Silver Stars coach Dan Hughes said. "And I've coached over 300 games."

Fowles has scored in double figures in 58 consecutive games.

Jia Perkins scored 18 points for San Antonio (13-10), which has lost five of its last seven.
