BERKELEY, Calif. — Reshanda Gray set career highs with 43 points and 16 rebounds, and Brittany Boyd recorded just the second triple-double in school history as No. 18 California beat Washington State 75-68 in overtime Thursday night.

Boyd scored eight of her 13 points in overtime, finishing with 11 assists and a career-high 14 rebounds. She made just 2 of 16 field-goal attempts.

Gray made 17 of 20 from the floor and recorded her seventh consecutive double-double. The rest of the Bears (21-7, 13-4 Pac-12) were 7 of 49 from the field.

The teams combined to attempt 159 field goals, including 90 by WSU — the second-most in program history. WSU attempted 103 field goals against St. Mary’s in 2006.

Tia Presley had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Shalie Dheensaw added 14 points and 15 rebounds for WSU (15-14, 9-8), which shot 2 of 14 in overtime.

UCLA loses after suspensions

Oregon (19-8, 7-8) needed two overtimes to get an 87-83 win at shorthanded UCLA, which was playing without standout sophomore guards Jordan Adams and Kyle Anderson, who were suspended for one game for a violation of team rules.

Bryce Alford scored a career-high 31 for UCLA (21-7, 10-5).

Adams is averaging a team-leading 17.2 points, while Anderson is averaging 14.9 points, 8.6 rebounds and 6.9 assists.

Other women’s game

USC 67, at Utah 57

The Women of Troy (17-12, 10-7) overcame 27 points and 18 rebounds by Michelle Plouffe of Utah (11-17, 4-13).

Men’s game

Oregon State 76, at USC 66

Roberto Nelson had 14 points as the Beavers (15-12, 7-8) held off the Trojans (10-18, 1-14).
