BOULDER, Colo. —

Chucky Jeffery had a season-high 28 points with 12 rebounds as No. 23 Colorado defeated Utah 67-57 Tuesday night.

Colorado (12-2, 1-2) used a 20-3 run in the second half for their first Pac-12 win of the season.

Taryn Wicijowski and Michelle Plouffe had 17 points apiece for the Utes (9-5, 0-3), who have lost four in a row and five of their last seven.

Colorado's Jamee Swan, Ariel Roberson and Brittany Wilson finished with eight points each. Swan also had eight rebounds.

Jeffery has 1,398 career points and is 12th on Colorado's all-time scoring list. It was her third time in double figures in both points and rebounds in a game this season.

Wicijowski was 7 for 8 from the free-throw line and had nine rebounds and four assists for Utah.
