No. 22 Notre Dame cruises past Brown 84-57

Freshman Cameron Biedscheid had a career-high 17 points and No. 22 Notre Dame beat Brown 84-57 on Saturday night.
Jack Cooley added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Fighting Irish (8-1), who committed just three turnovers and finished with 22 assists. Scott Martin made four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points. Eric Atkins had 10 points and 12 assists.
Notre Dame dominated inside, outrebounding Brown (3-5) 42-32 and outscoring the Bears 38-16 in the paint.
Matt Sullivan scored 18 for Brown (3-5). Sullivan was 4 for 8 from 3-point range.
Notre Dame led 42-27 at halftime and put the game away midway through the second half. Jerian Grant and Martin made back-to-back 3-pointers to cap a 12-0 run that gave the Irish a 71-45 lead with 6:02 to go.
Irish sixth man Garrick Sherman was out after bruising a knee in practice this week, creating some playing time for Zach Auguste and Tom Knight. Knight, a senior who draws praise from his teammates for his work ethic in practice, had four points and seven rebounds.
Sean McGongill added 15 points for Brown.
