Venus Williams advances to 3rd round at Olympics
Venus Williams advanced to the third round of the Olympic tennis competition by beating Aleksandra Wozniak of Canada 6-1, 6-3 at Wimbledon on Tuesday.

Venus Williams advanced to the third round of the Olympic tennis competition by beating Aleksandra Wozniak of Canada 6-1, 6-3 at Wimbledon on Tuesday.
The American won gold in singles in 2000, as well as two gold medals in doubles with sister Serena Williams in 2000 and 2008.
Venus Williams will next play seventh-seeded Angelique Kerber of Germany.
