LONDON —

Usain Bolt will carry the Jamaican flag in the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.

"Carrying the flag is an honor," Bolt said Thursday. "For my country Jamaica, I'll do anything - to be on TV. I'm happy. I'm looking forward to tomorrow."

At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Bolt set world records in winning the 100 and 200 meters. He also helped the Jamaican team set a world record in the 4x100 relay for a third gold medal.

But Bolt will enter the London Olympics after losing to teammate Yohan Blake in the 100 and 200 at the Jamaican trials.
