SANDY, Utah —

Real Salt Lake played to a 0-0 draw with Seattle on Wednesday night, snapping a three game losing streak and extending the Sounders' franchise-record winless streak to nine games.

Seattle (7-5-6) dropped to 0-4-5 during their winless stretch.

Salt Lake (10-6-3) controlled possession most of the first half and used crisp, accurate passing to try to create some scoring chances though none resulted in goals. It was more of the same in the second half as Salt Lake pressed the attack and tried to position itself for a score more aggressively than Seattle.

Alavaro Saborio tapped in a cross deep into the box from Chris Wingert in the 52nd minute for Salt Lake, but the goal was waved off when Saborio was ruled offside on the play.
