A's recall Ross, Sogard.

The Athletics recalled right-hander Tyson Ross and infielder Eric Sogard between Oakland's game with the San Diego Padres on Saturday.

OAKLAND, Calif. —

The Athletics recalled right-hander Tyson Ross and infielder Eric Sogard between Oakland's game with the San Diego Padres on Saturday.

Ross was 2-6 with a 6.51 ERA with the A's earlier in the season. Sogard, on the A's Opening Day roster, batted .136 with a pair of home runs and six RBIs before being optioned to Sacramento of the PCL.

To make room on the roster, the A's optioned right-hander Evan Scribner and infielder Adam Rosales to Sacramento.

The A's also announced infielder Kila Ka'aihue cleared waivers and was outrighted to Sacramento.
