Salomon Kalou scored in the 89th minute, leading Chelsea past Tottenham 2-1 and keeping alive his team's hopes of retaining the Premier League title.
Sandro put Tottenham ahead in the 19th-minute on a shot from long range, but Frank Lampard tied it in the final minute of the first half. Kalou won it when he poked the ball into an unguarded net despite appearing offside.
Manchester United is bidding for a record 19th English championship. It leads Chelsea by three points and plays at third-place Arsenal on Sunday.
"It's theirs to lose," Lampard said. "But if they do slip up we're in a position now where we'll have a real go to try and do it."
Chelsea has just three games remaining to United's four, but one of those is the meeting between the teams at Old Trafford next weekend.
Wigan and Blackpool played to draws, leaving unclear which clubs will be relegated. Blackpool drew 0-0 with FA Cup finalist Stoke, and Wigan drew 1-1 with seventh-place Everton.
Blackpool, in 17th place, and Wigan, in the third and final relegation spot, are tied at 35 points. Last-place West Ham has 32 points, one fewer than next-to-last Wolverhampton. Both play Sunday.
Blackburn improved its chances of avoiding demotion with its first win since Jan. 23, beating Bolton 1-0. West Bromwich Albion's place in next year's Premier League looks secure after it downed Aston Villa 2-1.
Queens Park Rangers secured the League Championship title with a 2-0 win at Watford and will be promoted to the Premier League after a 15-year absence. But QPR faces a hearing next week for allegedly breaking transfer rules. If guilty, a points deduction is possible.

BERLIN (AP) - Borussia Dortmund won its seventh Bundesliga title and first since 2002, beating Nuremberg 2-0 on Saturday while second-place Bayer Leverkusen lost 2-0 at Cologne.
First-half goals from Lucas Barrios and Robert Lewandowksi put Dortmund eight points ahead of Leverkusen with two rounds left. Dortmund started the season by losing at home to Leverkusen.
"I'm just happy," Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp said. "I thought I'd be euphoric but maybe that'll come. It's impossible to put what the lads have done into words."
Milivoje Novakovic scored for Cologne in the 67th and 82nd minutes, giving his team its first victory over Leverkusen in 14 years.
"I can't really describe it," Dortmund midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz said. "We played a really awesome season."
Thomas Mueller scored twice and set up another two for Bayern Munich, which won 4-1 at home against Schalke. Bayern moved to third after Hannover lost 1-0 at home to Borussia Moenchengladbach.

MADRID (AP) - Angel Lafita scored twice and set up a penalty kick for Zaragoza, which won 3-2 against a Real Madrid team coming off a Champions League loss to Barcelona.
Jose Mourinho's team lost for the second time in three league games at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium after the Portuguese coach hadn't endured a home defeat for nine years.
Madrid fell 2-0 in the first-leg of the semifinals to Barcelona on Wednesday. The victory moved Zaragoza four points clear of the relegation.
Spanish leader Barcelona was playing Real Sociedad, with a chance to increase its eight-point lead over Madrid. Real Madrid now has only a slim chance of preventing the Catalan club from winning a third straight league trophy with four rounds to play.

PARIS (AP) - Lille thrashed last-place Arles-Avignon 5-0 to take the lead in the French league and put pressure on defending champion Marseille.
Marseille trails Lille by two points and hosts Auxerre on Sunday.
Gervinho flicked home a cross from Mathieu Debuchy to open the scoring after four minutes. The Ivory Coast forward doubled the lead just before halftime, taking his goals total to 14 this season.
Debuchy converted a penalty kick in the 49th minute. Yohan Cabaye made it 4-0 by curling home a free kick in the 84th before David Rozehnal sealed the win with a lob.

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) - Steven Naismith scored two second-half goals to help Rangers to a 5-0 romp at Motherwell, putting considerable pressure on rival Celtic in the race for the Scottish Premier League title.
The first-place Rangers are four points ahead of Celtic, which plays the first of its two games in hand Sunday against Dundee United.
