Haley may call plays next year

With Charlie Weis leaving town, head coach Todd Haley says he will consider calling plays next year for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Weis was offensive coordinator this season and had a big hand in helping the Chiefs make a six-game improvement and win their first AFC West title since 2003. But Weis is leaving to become offensive coordinator at Florida.
Haley said he intends to hire a new offensive coordinator. But he did not rule out calling plays himself next season. A former offensive coordinator with the Arizona Cardinals, Haley called plays as the head coach his first year in Kansas City in 2009.
