Kevin Durant, Texas
Position: Forward. Birthplace: Washington, D.C.
Height: 6-9. Weight: 215.
Scouting report: Tremendously versatile player who can score in a variety of ways. He's an amazingly adept ballhandler for somebody his size.
Role with Sonics: Presti has begun building the team around Durant, who is likely to play small forward.
2006-07 by the numbers:
FG%: 47.3 Pts.: 25.8. Reb.: 11.1. Blk: 1.9.
Jeff Green, Georgetown
Position: Forward. Birthplace: Cheverly, Md.
Height: 6-9. Weight: 235.
Scouting report: Green is an unselfish player, who often thinks pass first, shoot second. Strong inside on both ends of the court, has good range on his shot.
Role with Sonics: What the Sonics do with Rashard Lewis will affect his playing time, but either way he'll probably see plenty of action as a rookie.
2006-07 by the numbers:
FG%: .513. Pts.: 14.3. Reb.: 6.4. Blk: 1.16.
