Player to watch: QB Trent Edwards threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns in last year's 24-21 win over WSU. In 2004, he threw for 202 yards and one TD in a 23-17 triumph.
Last week: Stanford got pounded 37-9 by Navy to spoil the opening of remodeled Stanford Stadium, which has been shrunk from 85,000 to 50,000 seats.
