Rewind: Live chat with NBC Sports soccer announcer Arlo White

Arlo White is in his second season as the lead play-by-play man for NBC Sports' soccer coverage.

He was the beloved voice of Sounders FC for two years before leaving for NBC in Nov. 2011. In his role, he calls MLS, U.S. National Team and Olympic soccer matches for the network. He was recently named the lead play-by-play announcer for NBC's English Premier League coverage that begins in August.

On Saturday, he will broadcast Sounders FC's Cascadia Cup clash with the Vancouver Whitecaps at CenturyLink Field with former MLS and national team player Kyle Martino.

Prior to joining the Sounders, White spent the previous nine years with BBC Radio Sport in England and covered the UEFA Champions League, the Commonwealth Games, cricket as well as the 2010 World Cup.
