The Seattle Sounders Women will take on the Pali Blues Sunday in the Western Conference championship match, with a berth in the USL W-League final four on the line.

The match is set for 1 p.m. at Titan Stadium on the Cal State Fullerton campus.

The Blues (13-0-1) finished atop the Western Conference regular-season standings, with the Sounders (10-3-1) right behind in second. Two of Seattle's losses came against Pali.

Notes

Chessey Thomas of Spokane will face Amanda Baker of Nanaimo, B.C., in the final of the Pacific Northwest Women's Amateur Golf Championship in Victoria, B.C.

Leslie Folsom of Seattle will face Shelly Stouffer of Nanoose Bay, B.C., in the Mid-Amateur Championship final.

• The Washington State men's basketball team will face Buffalo in the 2012 Cougar Hardwood Classic, Dec. 21 at KeyArena.

• The Everett Silvertips acquired forward Luke Gordon in a trade with the Calgary Hitmen for defenseman Darian Henry.

Scott Garske (football), Joyce Rainwater Blount (track), Don Kallem (coach, golf and football) and Jon Heimbigner (Service and Contribution Award) will join the 1997 Eagles football team as inductees in the Eastern Washington Athletics Hall of Fame on Oct. 6.
