Rewind: Live chat with NBC Sports soccer broadcaster Arlo White

Latest from the Sounders FC blog

During his two years in Seattle, Arlo White was the beloved voice of Sounders FC. Last November, he left the club to become the lead play-by-play man for NBC Sports' soccer coverage.

In his new role, he will call MLS, U.S. National Team and 2012 Olympic soccer matches for the network. This Friday, he will broadcast Sounders FC's showdown with the Houston Dynamo at CenturyLink Field with former MLS and national team player Kyle Martino.

Prior to joining the Sounders, White spent the previous nine years with BBC Radio Sport in England.

A native of Leicester, England, he has also covered the UEFA Champions League, the Olympics, the Commonwealth Games and cricket tournaments all over the world as well as the 2010 World Cup.

White talked about joining NBC Sports, his work with Sounders FC, the new season in MLS and much more in a live chat March 21 on seattletimes.com.
