MOSCOW, Idaho — Kyle Barone had 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead Idaho to a 70-69 victory against Seattle University on Tuesday night.

Barone tied the score at 67 with two free throws, and Deremy Geiger put the Vandals (12-11) up 70-69 with a three-pointer with 1:22 remaining.

Aaron Broussard, who scored 20, missed at the buzzer for Seattle U (6-13).

Idaho's Stephen Madison and Geiger each scored 16.

Sterling Carter scored 12 points, and Cervante Burrell and Eric Wallace had 10 each for Seattle U.

The Vandals used a 16-4 run to take a 52-51 lead midway through the second half. Idaho took a six-point lead when Djim Bandoumel converted a three-point play, but Chad Rasmussen put the Redhawks on top 67-65 on a three-pointer with 3:20 left.
