Seattle University women bury Chicago State 80-38

Elle Kerfoot scored 18 points and became Seattle University's all-time three-point leader as the Redhawks dominated Chicago State 80-38.

Elle Kerfoot scored 18 points and became Seattle University's all-time three-point leader as the Redhawks dominated Chicago State 80-38 at Connolly Center on Saturday.

Kerfoot was 6 for 6 on three-pointers and has 171 for her career, surpassing Ashley Payne (168).

"It's an honor, and it's very exciting. I didn't realize I was that close until the other day," Kerfoot said. "It was a great team win today. Everybody contributed and moved the ball well, which opened up different things for different people."

Talisa Rhea had 11 points and 11 assists for the Redhawks (11-7), who scored the first 14 points of the game against the Cougars (2-15). Kacie Sowell had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Sylvia Shephard scored 10.
