Aaron Broussard lifts Seattle University to first victory of season
Redhawks enjoy hot-shooting night

BOZEMAN, Mont. — Aaron Broussard scored 23 points and shot 70 percent from the floor as Seattle University had a great shooting night in posting its first men's basketball victory of the season, beating Montana State 85-73 Tuesday night.
Broussard, out of Federal Way, posted a 7-for-10 shooting night from the field and an 8-for-9 effort from the line in leading the Redhawks (1-2). Seattle's Eric Wallace also had a 7-for-10 night from the field and was perfect on four free throws for a season-high 18 points to go along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
For the game, Seattle hit 28 of 50 shots, 56 percent.
In the final five minutes before halftime, Seattle broke a 30-30 tie on a three-pointer by Chad Rasmussen and capitalized on three consecutive missed shots by the Bobcats (2-2) en route to building a 39-33 lead.
Seattle shot a scorching 62.5 percent in the second half while outscoring Montana State 46-40, never allowing the Bobcats to get closer than 10 points in the game's final 9:13.
