Rewind: Live chat with former SU guard Carl Ervin
When listing the top guards that have come out of Seattle over the years, Carl Ervin would be near the top.
He played at Cleveland High School and was the floor general that led the Eagles to a 50-1 record and back-to-back state titles in 1975 (AA) and 1976 (AAA).
Following his outstanding prep career, he moved on to Seattle University and became one of the school's all-time greats. He ranks in the top 10 for many career stats and still holds the school record for most assists at the Division I level.
Ervin talked about his playing days at Cleveland and SU, the Redhawks' return to Division I hoops and more in a live chat on Nov. 12.
