Injury roundup: Walter Thurmond, Marcus Trufant and Alan Branch
"Kind of got our fingers crossed that he could make it back this week," Carroll said. "Tru's trying to make it back also. We'll see how that goes. We don't know that yet."
Defensive tackle Alan Branch left Sunday's game with an ankle injury, which the Seahawks are hoping doesn't turn out to be as severe as initially feared.
"He came out way better than we thought," Carroll said of Branch. "He has had a history of high ankle sprains, and we thought that's where this one went. But we'll see. We'll rest him probably until Friday and see if he can go on Friday. We're thinking that he might have a chance to make it back. That's a very encouraging report. After the game, we thought maybe he would not be able to do that."
Kicker Steven Hauschka appeared to be limping after a kickoff in Sunday's game, but Carroll said he's fine.
