NFC West Watch: 49ers still in first
| NFC WEST | OVERALL W | L | T | DIVISION W | L | T | |
| San Francisco | 9-3-1 | 2-1-1 | |
| Seattle | 8-5 | 1-3 | |
| St. Louis | 6-6-1 | 4-0-1 | |
| Arizona | 4-9 | 1-4 | |
The NFC West hasn't had more than one team finish with a winning record since 2003 when the St. Louis Rams won the division at 12-4 and the Seahawks claimed a wild-card playoff berth at 10-6.
There's a chance that three NFC West teams could finish above .500 this season as San Francisco, Seattle and Arizona St. Louis all won Sunday.
There won't be any divisional games this week in the NFC West, but there will be a pair of games critical in terms of the division crown as San Francisco plays at New England and Seattle faces Buffalo in Toronto. A 49ers' loss combined with a Seahawks' victory would make the Dec. 23 meeting between those teams for the divisional lead, and it's possible -- perhaps even likely -- that game could be flexed to Sunday night in a schedule change that may be announced this week.
