Seahawks release receiver Braylon Edwards
Seattle has released receiver Braylon Edwards with an injured designation. Edwards appeared in 10 games for the Seahawks. He caught eight passes in his time with the Seahawks, but had struggled with a recurring knee injury.
Edwards nearly had a touchdown catch at the end of the first half on Sunday only to have it overturned on review.
The move leaves Seattle with five receivers on the active roster: Golden Tate, Sidney Rice, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse and Charly Martin.
