NFC West Watch: Seahawks a game closer to 49ers
| NFC WEST | OVERALL W | L | T | DIVISION W | L | T | |
| San Francisco | 8-3-1 | 2-1-1 | |
| Seattle | 7-5 | 0-3 | |
| St. Louis | 5-6-1 | 4-0-1 | |
| Arizona | 4-8 | 1-3 | |
A week ago, the Seahawks' loss at Miami seemed so crippling to Seattle's chances at winning the NFC West that many Seahawks fans rooted for the 49ers to beat New Orleans to help the Seahawks' position for a wild-card berth.
Seattle's victory at Chicago combined with San Francisco's overtime loss at St. Louis means the division doesn't look like it's necessarily a done deal. San Francisco must lose two more games than Seattle over the final four games.
The 49ers have scored three offensive touchdowns over the past two games, and quarterback Colin Kaepernick looked decidedly shaky in his third start.
The 49ers' schedule is decidedly tougher than Seattle's over the final four weeks, especially considering there's a game at New England the week before San Francisco plays at Seattle.
