Red Bryant, Leroy Hill sit out Wednesday's practice
"His foot is really bothering him," Carroll said. "He's got a plantar fasciitis that he's dealing with. He's had it for a long time, but it's kind of flared up here in the last couple weeks. It's affected him some, enough that we've got to slow him down a little bit in practice."
Bryant has played in all 11 regular-season games, but he did miss two practices earlier this month because of the foot injury.
Will Bryant be back in time for the game?
"I don't know," Carroll said. "We've got to wait and see."
If Bryant were unable to play, Alan Branch will move over from defensive tackle to play Bryant's spot at defensive end with rookie Greg Scruggs stepping into the starting role.
Linebacker Leroy Hill will also sit out practice Wednesday with a sore ankle, the injury he suffered during Sunday's game. He did return to finish the game.
