Seahawks cornerbacks disputing test results
By Mike Garafolo | USA Today
Brandon Browner, Richard Sherman could play for Seahawks
By Tim Booth | Associated Press
The facts: Cornerback Richard Sherman Tweeted that he expects to be cleared, and cornerback Brandon Browner's agent made a statement to the Associated Press:
"Brandon Browner has no knowledge of how any illegal substance could have gotten into his system. He is an outstanding person and a very good football player. He takes tremendous care of his body and he is very careful with what he puts into it. We're exploring all avenues to try and figure out how any substance out of the ordinary would be in his system."
Now comes the hazier parts. USA Today reported Sherman drank from a bottle that belonged to a teammate that contained a crushed-up Adderall. Sherman denied that scenario in a text message to Curtis Crabtree of KJR-AM.
