Three Seahawks defensive starters sit out Wednesday's practice
Linebacker K.J. Wright and guard James Carpenter sat out practice as they recover from concussions. That's part of the NFL's protocol for brain injuries. They will be evaluated, and could return in a limited capacity on Thursday.
"They'll take their tests again," Carroll said, "and we'll hope to get those guys out tomorrow (Thursday) if they can. It all depends on how they do."
Receiver Braylon Edwards (knee) did not practice and defensive tackle Jason Jones (ankle) was limited Wednesday, but are expected back on the field Thursday with the expectation they'll be available Sunday.
"We are planning on those guys playing in the game unless something causes a setback," Carroll said.
