What Seahawks history says about starting 4-3
Or maybe it's a devotion to statistics.
Or perhaps it's just a weekend off that forced me to look through the first 36 seasons of Seahawks history to look at the team's record after seven games and what kind of season that foretold.
The results aren't shocking. Those years that Seattle started 5-2, it almost always made the playoffs. When it started 4-3, it made the postseason half the time. The Seahawks have never reached the postseason when they've had a losing record after seven games.
