Passing judgment: Seahawks remain largely ground-bound

Carroll says he's the reason for Seattle's low passing numbers
By Danny O'Neil | The Seattle Times

Expecting a shootout Sunday in St. Louis? You shouldn't be.

Coach Pete Carroll said he's the one keeping the lid on Seattle's offense, meaning he's content to wage wars of attrition and field position and grind down opponents.

Through three games Russell Wilson has completed six passes of 20 yards or more. Only one guy has fewer and that's Sunday's opponent: Sam Bradford.
