Report: Kellen Winslow added by the Patriots
Sources: Patriots add Kellen Winslow
By Mike Reiss | ESPNBoston.com
Tight end Kellen Winslow could be coming back to Seattle after all.
As a member of the New England Patriots, that is.
Winslow has been added by New England, according to a report from ESPNBoston.com. He had visited the Patriots after the Seahawks released him eight days before the regular season began, but did not sign with the team. Winslow's addition came after the Patriots learned they would be without Aaron Hernandez for a few weeks because of an injured ankle.
Winslow spent almost four months with the Seahawks, going through the team's offseason training program and all of training camp before Seattle released him to sign Evan Moore.
