Golden Tate sits out practice after knee injury
Tate's status is uncertain, though. Coach Pete Carroll did not answer questions after practice, and NFL teams do not release injury reports until Wednesday when playing on Sunday.
However, a source indicated Friday that Tate likely would be out at least two weeks with the knee injury. Expect Braylon Edwards to get more opportunities were Tate unavailable.
James Carpenter returned to practice Monday, his first workout since being activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list. Carpenter started eight games at right tackle last season, but will be moving to guard.
New tight end Evan Moore also practiced for the first time since signing with the team.
Finally, in terms of draft-pick accounting, Seattle now keeps the conditional seventh-round pick it had traded ot the Buccaneers to acquire Kellen Winslow.
