Deuce Lutui, Alex Barron released along with Terrell Owens

The Seahawks announced 12 players were removed from the active roster on Sunday in preparation for Monday's deadline to be down to 75 players:

Three veterans had their contracts terminated. All were signed to one-year deals: T Alex Barron, G Deuce Lutui, WR Terrell Owens.

Four players were waived/injured, a designation that indicates they were hurt at the time of the move: LB Jameson Konz, DE Pep Levingston, DB Roy Lewis, TE Cameron Morrah. Lewis had a knee injury that required surgery while Morrah has been bothered by a toe injury that dates back to the 2010 season. Levingston had also been out with a sore knee.

Five players were waived: WR Phil Bates, T Edawn Coughman, CB Donny Lisowski, CB Ron Parker, RB Tyrell Sutton.

Seattle's roster currently stands at 77 players, meaning two more moves must be made by Monday at noon Pacific.
