Seahawks notebook: Flynn, Owens fail to connect

Meaningless stat: This is only the third time going back to 1999 that the Seahawks have won their first two exhibition games. That can't be bad, right? Well, the last two times were 2008, the year the Seahawks went 4-12, and 2009 when they went 5-11.

What a rush: The Seahawks rushed for 224 yards in Denver, which is great when you consider they rushed for 284 games yards in all four exhibition games combined in 2010. It's only the second time since 1999 that Seattle totaled more than 200 yards rushing in any exhibition game. The Seahawks rushed for 216 yards in an exhibition game at New Orleans in 2005.
