Postgame notes: Seahawks 27, Titans 17
Tight end Zach Miller suffered a concussion on the hit that followed his second catch of the game. Coach Pete Carroll noted that it didn't appear to be a severe concussion, but that it was a concussion, and Miller would follow the league protocol before he would return to practice.
Quarterback Russell Wilson's 32-yard touchdown run came on a naked bootleg that was his call.
"They were overloaded on that one side," Wilson said. "We talked about it maybe that it was a possibility. Obviously, we wanted to hand the ball off and just run it."
Wilson ran it all right. He ran it around the left end of the line and then followed the block of receiver Charly Martin, who had the high safety on that play.
"Charly Martin made an unbelievable block. He did a tremendous job of staying on his guy, and staying in front of him so I could get in the end zone."
So what did Martin see on that play?
"It was a little freelance by Russ," Martin said. "He had given me a little heads-up, but I tried to sell the original play and just tried to make it happen."
• LB Malcolm Smith suffered a hamstring injury in the game.
