Terrell Owens' practice debut to wait a day

RENTON -- Seattle's newest receiver isn't on the roster just yet.

He won't be at Tuesday's practice, either.

Owens returned home to Los Angeles on Monday night after reaching an agreement with the Seahawks. He is expected back on Tuesday afternoon, which means his practice debut is going to have to wait a day. No word yet on whether he will play in Seattle's exhibition game on Saturday against Tennessee.

Seahawks general manager John Schneider was on with Mitch Levy of Sports Radio KJR, and he confirmed that Owens was timed running 40 yards in 4.45 seconds and 4.43 seconds, which is remarkably fast.
