Confirmed: Seahawks to sign Braylon Edwards

Edwards recently worked out for the Seahawks. He also visited the Dolphins, and while many assumed the Seahawks' signing of Antonio Bryant meant Edwards was no longer a consideration, that may not be the case.

Dave Mahler of KJR Sports Radio is reporting the Seahawks will sign Edwards on Tuesday. I'm working to confirm that, but before I followed it up, I wanted to post the report here.

The Seahawks begin practice at 10 a.m., and we'll be following this story on the blog throughout the day.

Update: The Seahawks have announced the signing of Edwards. In fact, he's on the roster wearing No. 17.
