Seahawks sign WR Antonio Bryant to the active roster
Receiver Antonio Bryant will join the Seahawks for training camp after the team announced he was signed to the active roster.
Bryant participated in the Seahawks' mandatory veteran minicamp on a tryout basis. He was admittedly working his way back into football shape at the time.
Bryant had a career-high 1,248 yards receiving in 2008 when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was designated as the team's franchise player in 2009. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, but was released before the season ever began because of a knee injury.
He has not played in the two seasons since then.
