Seventh round (v.2.0): DE Greg Scruggs, Louisville

The Seahawks concluded their draft by choosing Greg Scruggs in the seventh round of the draft. Scruggs is a defensive end from Louisville.

Eight of the 10 players chosen by the Seahawks in this draft played defense in college, though one of those players -- seventh-round pick J.R. Sweezy -- will be moving to offense.

Scruggs is 6 feet 3, 284 pounds. The Seahawks have indicated to him that he will play the five-technique defensive tackle to begin with.

He was arrested for DUI in December. According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, Scruggs was arrested at 5:30 a.m. after striking a light pole along the interstate. His blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.116, according to the report.

Scruggs did not travel with his team to the bowl game after that arrest.
