Gray area concerning Seahawks' new logo
As in a gray alternate jersey that Seattle may have available, according to one source. This jersey would be a third option to the blue -- which is typically worn at home -- and the white shirts usually worn on the road.
It also may be part of the new logo expected to be unveiled on April 3 in New York when Nike introduces its uniforms.
Two segments that recently aired on the NFL Network may have featured the new logo, thereby giving the public a glimpse.
(Warning: Shameless self promotion coming). One of those segments just so happened to feature me. In each instance, the intro to the segment featured a Seahawks logo that appeared to have a lighter lower stripe behind the bird's head.

It's tough to tell the exact shade, but the little bird who let slip the bit about the gray alternate jerseys had said the logo would include a gray lower stripe.
In the NFL Network's "On the Clock" segment, once it shifted to the host, the Seahawks' most logo appeared over Paul Burmeister's shoulder, featuring two darker shades of blue on the stripes behind the bird's head.
Did the logo leak? We'll have to wait until Tuesday to find out for certain, but it certainly appears the Seahawks are going to be entering a gray area.
