Anthony Hargrove to the Packers

Anthony Hargrove was not only a surprise addition to the Seahawks' 2011 team, but a surprisingly effective addition.

He agreed to terms with the Seahawks on Friday, two days before the season-opener in San Francisco, a game he played in.

He was a former third-round draft pick, who had overcome a drug addiction, played his way back into the league and earned a Super Bowl ring with the New Orleans Saints.

He was a mainstay in Seattle's nickel package last year, he had three sacks and his most memorable play was the tackle for a loss he had, registering a safety in New York against the Giants.

The Seahawks saw Jason Jones as an upgrade, though. Someone who is younger than Hargrove, and with a greater upside. Hargrove indicated he has agreed to terms with the Green Bay Packers. He will become the third unrestricted free agent to leave the Seahawks this offseason, following tight end John Carlson -- who went to Minnesota -- and offensive lineman Mike Gibson, who's in Philadelphia.
